A remarkable game, an incredible atmosphere, The Lions spirit lives on. On a rain-soaked Wellington evening at Westpac Stadium, Warren Gatland’s team bounced off the ropes to keep the series alive with a defining victory.
The All Blacks played the majority of the game with 14 men when Sonny Bill Williams was sent off in the first half. Roared on by thousands of fans, The Lions bided their time and when Taulupe Faletau slid in at the flag, the dream was on. The Lions sealed a memorable win when Conor Murray squeezed over. Incredible.
