A brilliant, see-saw, epic contest went the way of the Highlanders by one point.
The Lions seemed to be on their way to victory half way through the second half thanks to tries from Sam Warburton, Jonathan Joseph and Tommy Seymour but then it all caved in for them.
The Highlanders scored from a line-out drive by Liam Coltman that followed up a score from Waisake Naholo and when The Lions were bumped off their own scrum, Marty Banks slotted the winning penalty.
