MT Nicholas Farm Experience
Make your own way to the Queenstown Visitor Centre (St Omer Wharf, 110 Beach Street, Queenstown, 9300), where you will be met by your Lions Rugby Travel Representatives, to begin your journey. Spirit of Queenstown offers the longest, premium cruising experience on Lake Wakatipu. Board the vessel and enjoy a return cruise to Mt Nicholas High Country Farm on the western shores of the lake on a modern, spacious, purpose-built catamaran. Cruise through Bob's Cove and view flora and fauna up close, and enjoy spectacular views towards Glenorchy, Mt Earnslaw, the Southern Alps and Remarkables mountain range. Disembark the vessel and join the farm guide on a short tour of this truly authentic, working high country merino sheep farm. Watch the farm guide round up sheep, meet working farm animals used on the farm, and get up close to merino sheep whose wool is provided directly to Icebreaker clothing company. Milford Sound Scenic Cruise
Meet your Lions Rugby Travel Representatives at your hotel, 20 minutes prior to your departure, and board your coach to Milford Sound. The journey time is approximately five hours each way, and photo stops will be made on route. Cruise the full length of the fiord in comfort on a modern, spacious catamaran with indoor seating and large, tall windows for panoramic viewing. Cruising along calm waters between sheer cliffs carved by centuries of ice erosion, immerse yourself in a mysterious world in an undersea viewing chamber and catch sight of majestic Mitre Peak and cascading waterfalls that thunder into the depths below.
