PRIORITY ACCESS PASS HOLDERS’ MEET THE HEAD COACH EVENT

The ‘Meet the Head Coach’ event will take place in the Ricoh Lounge of the Sixways Stadium in Worcester. In advance of the event we will send you your exclusive invitation pass, match ticket and car park pass if allocated. On arrival at the stadium please present your exclusive invitation card and match ticket to members of our Lions Event Team who will direct you to the Ricoh Lounge located on the second floor. Please note that your invitation card and match ticket is non replaceable in any event.

FOOD AND DRINK

A complimentary bar service (beer, wine and soft drinks) will run from 1200hrs to 1500hrs along with a hot self-service lunch which will be served before the Q&A session.

BY ROAD

Travelling south on the M5 - Exit at Junction 6. Stay in the right-hand lane when exiting the slip road. Follow the road markings and signs to A4538 to Droitwich (5th exit). At the next roundabout, turn left (1st exit) onto Warriors Way and into Sixways Stadium.

Travelling north on the M5 - Exit at Junction 6. Stay in the right-hand lane when exiting the slip road. Follow the road markings and signs for A4538 to Droitwich (3rd exit). At the next roundabout, turn left (1st exit) onto Warriors Way and into Sixways Stadium.

PARKING

Our complimentary parking at Sixways is limited and available on request on a first request basis. If you have had a car parking space confirmed, you will be provided with a parking pass in advance that will need to be displayed in your car windscreen on the day. One pass will be provided per party of four and are complimentary (subject to availability).

Non-pass holders can use either the Park-and-Walk or the Park-and-Ride facilities.

PARK-AND-WALK

Exit the M5 at Junction 6, follow the road markings and signs to the A4440 and the AA signs marked 'WRFC Park and Walk' at Shire Business Park. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Wainwright Road (WR4 9FA) and park along here. Once parked, follow the AA signs for the footpath which leads to Sixways Stadium (approximately a ten-minute walk). Park-and-Walk facilities are available at:

There are a number of spaces available at the Npower park and walk and these are also limited and available on request on a first come first serve basis. If you have had a car parking space confirmed, you will be provided with a parking pass that will need to be displayed on the day. PARK-AND-RIDE OPTIONS

County Hall (WR5 2NP)
From Junction 6 of the M5 follow the road markings and signs to the A4440 and the AA signs marked 'WRFC Park and Ride'. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit carrying along the A4440. Go straight over the next three roundabouts and at the 4th roundabout take the 3rd exit into County Hall (Countryside Centre).

Blackpole Trading Estate (WR3 8SG)
From Junction 6 of the M5 follow the road markings and signs to the A4440 and the AA signs marked 'WRFC Park and Ride'. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Berkley Road and go straight over the next roundabout onto Cotswold Way. Once at the traffic lights, turn right and then immediately left into Blackpole East Trading Estate, and follow the AA road signs.

RAIL

Worcester has two railway stations; Worcester Foregate Street and Worcester Shrub Hill. They are both located in the city centre and are approximately six miles from the stadium. Worcester is easily accessible from other cities, please see estimated journey times below:

Cardiff to Worcester – approximately 2hr 4m journey with a change in Hereford or Gloucester
Bristol to Worcester – approximately 1hr 36m direct journey
Birmingham to Worcester – approximately 45m direct from Birmingham New Street
Manchester to Worcester – approximately 2hr 23m journey with a change in Birmingham New Street
London to Worcester – approximately 2hr 32m direct journey

BUS

Worcester Bus Station runs a match day bus service, however as the first bus to the stadium is at 1300hrs it will not get you there in time for the event, therefore, please take other means of transport to get to the stadium.

The return match day bus service runs every 10 minutes from the Worcester Warriors to Worcester Bus Station. Buses run from 1650hrs with the last bus departing at 1905hrs, tickets are £4 per person and are available to purchase on the bus.

TAXI

Taxis are available outside both rail stations, from Shrub Hill the journey will take just over ten minutes and from Foregate Street 15 minutes. There are post-match taxis available outside the stadium, however these will get very busy. We would therefore recommend booking in advance.

AIR

The closest airport is Birmingham International which is approximately a 40 minute drive away from Sixways with regular domestic and international flights available. It is also possible to travel from the airport to Worcester via train, with regular services running from Birmingham International with a change in Birmingham New Street.

NEAREST HOTELS

The closest hotel to the stadium is the Premier Inn just off Junction 6 of the M5. This is approximately a 20 minute walk to the stadium. There is also another Premier Inn located in the City Centre and other hotels are also available. If you are booking a hotel we would advise you book sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.

VENUE SERVICES

Please note there are no cash machines at the Stadium, however the bar areas will accept both cash and card payments. AMEX is not accepted. Smoking is strictly forbidden within the Stadium, this includes the use of e-cigarettes.

ACCESSIBILITY

All entrances of the Stadium have wheelchair access.

Disabled toilet facilities are available in the main West Stand foyer and West Stand first floor. These facilities are also available in the South Stand terrace and South Stand first and second floors. Disabled toilets are also available in the Slick Systems Stand. Stewards are always available to assist.

All disabled parking places MUST be pre-booked. Only vehicles displaying both badges will be allowed into disabled spaces. If all disabled spaces are sold and space can be found elsewhere on site, every effort will be made to locate the disabled driver as close to his seat as possible. It should be noted that adequate disabled bus access and disembarkation is available at both County Hall and at Sixways for the Park & Ride facility. Drivers should follow the disabled parking signs from the entrance or as directed by stewards. Please inform the Event Team at your earliest convenience if you will require a wheelchair space.
